Finance Co-ordinator | Creswell, Derbyshire  | Salary £23-26K

1 year fixed contact (maternity cover)


DUTIES: 

To support the Executive Director by the inputting of all financial information into an accounting system.  To ensure the correct and accurate processing of all data onto the Project Management System and to assist in monitoring project finances.

a) To manage all aspects of accounts up to month end trial balance
b) To oversee all aspects of credit control
c) To take responsibility for the inputting of data onto Project Management System
d) To prepare monthly payroll on Sage
e) To assist the Executive Director in preparing month end Work in Progress and Payments on Account calculations
f) To assist the Executive Director in producing the month end accounts
g) To assist the Executive Director in producing annual and half-yearly budgets
h) To produce information for external auditors from time to time
i) To deal with HM Custom and Excise
j) To be responsible for the petty cash system
k) To assist other staff in the production of budgets for each project
l) Liaise with staff and suppliers regarding queries relating to orders/invoices
m) To assist with the running of the office as required from time to time
n) To assist the Executive Director in preparing claims in respect of grant claims for external funders
o) To maintain confidentiality in all of the associated duties
p) To consistently meet the targets and outcomes as agreed with the Executive Director
q) To follow all financial, administrative and other procedures in the implementation of your duties
r) To foster and encourage Equal Opportunities and to adhere to Data Protection requirements
s) To follow all policies and procedures
t) To assist project officers inputting data onto the PMS where appropriate
u) A commitment to an Environmental Management System (BS8555)
v) To adhere to the Health and Safety policy at all times and relevant to your job
w) To carry out any other duties commensurate with this post
