DIGITAL MEDIA ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Reporting to : Creative Partner

Scope of Role:
Our client who is a leading digital media agency based in Leeds is now seeking a Digital Account Director to manage a busy team.
Reporting to the Creative Partner, you will head up a group within the Client Services team.
Your main responsibility is to facilitate and lead client service activity across your allocated client accounts and build, develop and strengthen your client relationships. You will also support your team and focus on the development of your client accounts, new business and the service provision of the group as a whole.
Client Management
• Ultimate responsibility for allocated client accounts
• Manage wider agency resources and identify additional needs to ensure clients satisfaction
• Provide strategic context for all client work produced
• To contribute actively to the development of each clients’ online marketing strategy
• Generate new ideas on behalf of clients – both strategic and tactical
• Establish an appropriate client calendar including reviews
• Responsible for the effective delivery and implementation of any recommendations
• Overall responsibility for the quality of administration produced by your team
• To establish and maintain strong client relationships at the appropriate (senior) level
• To ensure effective working relationships between our client service team and your clients teams.
Commercial/Finance
• Extensive knowledge of clients’ commercial status (ie, billing, income, profitability)
• Provide accurate client financial information – budgets, forecasts on a timely basis
• Effective management of Work in Progress and billing cycle
• Delivery against targets in income growth and net contributions
• Ensure (with input from the Finance team) the existence of effective contracts/terms and conditions with clients
Internal Relationships
• Ultimate responsibility for the quality of briefs and other internal administration on allocated clients
• To work with other departmental heads to seek service improvement and a best practice approach
People Management
• Day to day management of team
• Motivate and promote an effective team working approach amongst direct reports
• Input into career development of staff on an ongoing basis and as part of the formal review process, including identifying any training needs.
